The administrative district of Hussein Dey is working to advance a project of 1,200 assisted promotional housing (LPA) units spread across the municipalities of Kouba, Hussein Dey, El Magharia, and Mohamed Belouizdad. Current data indicates that 80 units are complete, while 487 are under construction with varying completion rates. Additionally, 489 units are in the final stages of land site allocation, and 144 are awaiting the resolution of property issues. Responding to concerns from applicants who have been waiting since 2019, the administrative delegate, Nadjia Nassib, held a meeting with local officials to demand the removal of all obstacles. Directives were issued to speed up site work and implement periodic progress reviews to ensure the timely delivery of homes to beneficiaries.
