Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Tehran has not received any feedback from either Saudi Arabia or the Houthis regarding its offer to mediate talks aimed at ending their ongoing conflict. This proposal was presented earlier this month, coinciding with a surge in Houthi attacks targeting Saudi territory. Araghchi warned that external interference could exacerbate the regional situation, noting that Egypt had previously communicated to Iran that it would not intervene directly in the Yemeni war. Meanwhile, Cairo has expressed its readiness to support Saudi security, and the Egyptian parliament has postponed a scheduled vote on a potential military intervention against the Houthis until October 26.
