In the industrial sector, a new mechanism for calculating integration rates in vehicle and mobile phone manufacturing was unveiled, aiming to replace assembly operations with genuine local production to cut import costs. The meeting also assessed the progress of the 2025-2029 national anti-drug strategy, mandating monthly evaluations and greater civil society involvement in prevention efforts. Additionally, authorities have moved forward with plans to construct the El Menia-Tamanrasset railway line, with works scheduled to begin in Tamanrasset, as directed by the President.
