The National Office of Meteorology has issued a level two alert warning of heavy thunderstorms affecting 13 provinces. Rainfall levels are expected to range from 20 to 40 mm, with the possibility of reaching or exceeding 50 mm in specific areas. The impacted regions are Béchar, Naâma, El Bayadh, El Meniaa, Béni Abbès, eastern Tindouf, Adrar, Timimoun, In Salah, Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, Ouargla, and In Guezzam. These alerts remain in effect until Thursday afternoon.
