The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications has reached a preliminary agreement with Roblox, enabling the platform's return to Algeria. The collaboration focuses on a training program designed to equip Algerian developers with game design skills and facilitate their access to the international gaming industry. As part of the agreement, Roblox has implemented enhanced safety standards, including robust parental controls and age-appropriate content filtering, while keeping the chat feature disabled until advanced moderation systems are in place. Both parties aim to support local digital content creation while ensuring that digital experiences align with national values and prioritize the safety of children and minors online.
