Minister of Housing, Mohamed-Tarek Belaribi, continued his inspection tour in Constantine by visiting the Sissaoui urban pole, a 337-hectare site slated for 20,000 housing units. The project includes 8,050 AADL 3 units under the 2025 finance law and 7,000 units scheduled for 2026. During a technical meeting, the Minister called for the removal of all technical constraints and emphasized the need to finish urban planning studies. To boost productivity, he ordered contractors to implement a 24-hour work system using three 8-hour shifts. Furthermore, he mandated the addition of essential public facilities to the site, including primary schools, middle schools, high schools, a medical clinic, and a police station, complementing nine other public facilities already planned to ensure a functional living environment for future inhabitants.
