The committee of the Oran International Arab Film Festival has announced the launch of 'Basta Cinéma', a specialized program aimed at supporting Algerian filmmakers. Scheduled to run alongside the 14th edition of the festival from December 19 to 24, this initiative will focus on seven selected projects across fiction, documentary, and animation genres. Participants will receive professional mentoring to refine their concepts and prepare industry-standard presentations for an international jury. The program seeks to enhance the skills of local talents in developing and pitching their works. Interested candidates have until October 31 to submit their applications.
