Minister of Culture and Arts, Malika Bendouda, chaired a strategic meeting to redefine the missions of the Algerian Agency for Cultural Outreach (AARC). The goal is to optimize operational mechanisms to promote Algerian culture globally. The Minister highlighted the necessity of an innovative approach aligned with cultural diplomacy to solidify Algeria’s international presence and showcase its heritage. The vision involves engaging with global experiences by attracting foreign artists and hosting Algerian cultural weeks, specifically targeting the diaspora and various partners in the Arab world, Africa, and Europe. A practical action plan is now required to establish clear priorities and ensure the effective implementation of the state’s cultural diplomacy strategy.
