During the National Press Day celebrations, Minister Mohamed Bouslimani reaffirmed President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's commitment to promoting the media sector and enhancing the professionalism of journalists. Paying tribute to the pioneers of the press, the Minister noted that their dedication continues to inspire current professionals. He announced that the ministry is drafting new regulations for journalism, audiovisual production, and professional training, with a strong focus on cybersecurity. Bouslimani praised the media's role in bridging the gap between the administration and citizens, while dismissing external disinformation campaigns. He commended the patriotism and professional standard of national media, which demonstrate the strength of the country's domestic front and the unity between the people and the army, as evidenced by the widespread solidarity seen during last summer's wildfires. He described this professional approach as vital in countering hostile electronic propaganda.
