Two soldiers killed in shooting operation in Hebron
The Israeli army has confirmed the deaths of soldiers Ron Yonatan Ruitman and Yuval Shay Seflim following an armed operation near the Telem settlement and the Judah junction in Hebron. Reports indicate that the confrontation lasted over 20 minutes, with the attackers arriving in a vehicle displaying Israeli license plates. Meanwhile, Palestinian sources reported that the two perpetrators were killed by occupation forces at the Farsh al-Hawa checkpoint. Following the incident, Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the military to conduct raids, searches, and evacuations in various neighborhoods of Hebron. Additionally, the Ibrahimi Mosque has been closed to Muslim worshippers. Palestinian resistance factions praised the operation, describing it as a natural response to ongoing occupation policies.
