Gaza: Death toll rises to 74,540 amid deepening famine crisis
The death toll from the aggression in the Gaza Strip has risen to 74,540 martyrs, with 175,678 people injured. Despite the ceasefire effective since October 11, 2025, military attacks persist, including a drone strike Saturday near the Palestine Stadium in Gaza City. The humanitarian situation is rapidly worsening due to severe shortages of flour and fuel, forcing most bakeries to shut down. Abdel Nasser Al-Ajrmi, head of the Gaza Bakery Owners Association, warned that flour reserves are exhausted. Meanwhile, the World Food Programme has cut its aid coverage significantly due to funding gaps, leaving families struggling to secure basic food as prices soar and hunger spreads across the enclave.
