Occupational Health: Over 4,000 hidden conditions detected through enhanced preventive measures

Occupational medicine is shifting its focus toward early detection and risk management. During the first nine months of 2026, Prestimed conducted 51,061 medical visits, marking a 9% increase compared to 2025. These screenings successfully uncovered 4,017 previously unknown health conditions among workers, including diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia. CEO Anis Boutoutou highlighted the necessity of moving beyond simple fitness certificates to address professional hazards, such as chemical exposure and the rising trend of work-related mental health issues. While the company does not employ permanent psychologists, employees are referred to contracted specialists. Furthermore, the organization is modernizing its operations through the 'Wiqaya' platform, which streamlines management, billing, and data security. Serving nearly 2,000 partner companies, Prestimed is committed to expanding its geographical reach and continuing national awareness campaigns to promote better workplace health.
