During a working visit to Oran, the Minister of Vocational Training and Education inspected the Stellantis Algeria production unit in the Tafraoui industrial zone to enhance cooperation between the vocational sector and industrial entities. The initiative aims to align training programs with the evolving demands of the labor market. The Belgaid Center of Excellence currently trains over 450 students, including 22 from Niger, as part of a national project to train 500 Nigerien students. The Minister highlighted the advanced training programs established with Stellantis, noting that Fiat Algeria is currently training 26 additional Nigerien interns. Furthermore, the Minister announced that the first phase of implementing the ISO 21001 quality management system across vocational training institutions has been completed, with the project now moving into the diagnostic phase.
