An agri-food exhibition was held in Blida with the attendance of the wali and diplomats from 20 countries, highlighting the growth of domestic production. During the event, Minister Kamel Rezig officially introduced the first locally produced baker's yeast to the market. This move is part of a strategy to substitute imports, potentially saving $100 million in annual import costs. The Minister urged local businesses to utilize the diplomatic presence to establish new trade partnerships and boost the export of non-hydrocarbon products, emphasizing the quality and competitive potential of Algerian goods globally.
