Algeria will host the first leg, with the return match scheduled to take place in Burkina Faso. Following their decisive victory against the Central African Republic with a total score of 15-0, the Algerian squad is among the 16 teams remaining in the competition. The qualification process, involving 35 nations in total, will conclude on December 4, 2027, as teams compete for the two available African spots for the Olympic Games.
