The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications has reached an initial agreement with the global platform "Roblox" to provide training for Algerian developers in game design and creation. This initiative aims to help young professionals enter the international gaming industry through independent work or startups. Alongside these training opportunities, the ministry has mandated strict security protocols, such as enhanced parental controls and age-appropriate content filtering, to protect younger users. Notably, the platform's chat function will remain disabled in Algeria until effective Arabic-language content moderation systems are implemented. Further consultations are ongoing to establish the definitive framework for this partnership.
