Following security tensions in Saudi Arabian airports caused by Houthi rebel strikes, several international airlines have suspended their flight operations to the Kingdom. Air Algérie has not issued an official announcement regarding a total suspension, but the national carrier has stopped offering flight bookings to Jeddah and Medina on its website. It should be noted that Air Algérie does not operate flights to the airports directly targeted by recent attacks—Riyad, Abha, and Dammam—but connects Algiers, Oran, and Constantine to the two holy cities.
