A residential building collapse in the Hadayek El-Kobba district of Cairo early Wednesday has resulted in 6 deaths, including 3 children, and 7 injuries. Emergency and civil defense teams were deployed to the site on Al-Khalij Street to conduct search and rescue operations. The injured, which include a child, were transported to El-Zeitoun Specialized Hospital for medical care. While search efforts continue to find missing individuals, local authorities have evacuated adjacent properties and disconnected utility supplies to ensure public safety, pending structural assessments by engineering committees.
