The Algerian U23 national football team is set to face Eswatini in the opening rounds of the 2027 U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The first leg will take place on November 11th at the Somhlolo National Stadium in Lobamba, followed by the return leg in Algiers on November 16th, 2026. Advancing through this stage is essential for Algeria as they navigate the three-round qualification system towards the finals in Egypt. Success in this tournament is vital, as it serves as the path to securing a spot at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, a goal the team is highly motivated to achieve following their absence from the Paris 2024 Games.
