The municipality of Charef, in the wilaya of Djelfa, was shaken by the discovery of a woman's body buried in the rural area known as El Kaadi. The incident came to light after local residents reported strong odors emanating from the site. Upon investigation, they found parts of the body exposed on the ground, likely uncovered due to recent rain or stray animals. The National Gendarmerie intervened immediately, conducting the necessary legal procedures to recover the remains, which were then transferred to the El Idrissia hospital. An investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the death, with initial findings suggesting the burial was relatively recent.
