The Popular Front for the Liberation of the Palestine (PFLP) has condemned attacks by settlers against a European diplomatic delegation in Al-Taybeh and a Washington Post photographer in the village of Abu Fallah. Occurring during the olive harvest season, these incidents involved the targeting of diplomats from France, Belgium, and Poland near Ramallah, resulting in damage to a diplomatic vehicle and injuries to Palestinian farmers. Following the attack, Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot called for legal action against the perpetrators and stated that Belgium would push within the European Union for sanctions against violent settlers and their supporters. He emphasized that the occupying power is responsible for ensuring the safety of diplomats and civilians. Meanwhile, the PFLP described the injury of American photojournalist Heidi Levine as part of a broader effort to prevent the documentation of abuses in the occupied territories, accusing the Israeli government of shielding the perpetrators.
