A specialized training course on the coordination of Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) teams began this Monday at the main Civil Protection unit in Algiers. The program is designed for officers from the Algiers Civil Protection directorate and the National Training and Intervention Unit. This initiative aims to improve operational coordination, information management, and leadership skills during urban rescue missions. Led by experts and evaluators accredited by the international INSARAG network, the training serves as a strategic step toward enhancing emergency response and overall disaster preparedness.
