The new city of Tizi Ouzou will host the second edition of the Algerian Couscous Festival from October 15 to 17. Held under the motto "Couscous brings us together" at the Thamaghra leisure park, the national event will feature participants from various regions of the country to celebrate the heritage and traditions surrounding this signature dish. The three-day festival will include a national exhibition of local handicrafts, seminars on culinary history, as well as cooking and tasting workshops. A national culinary contest, the "Golden Grain Trophy," will also be featured. The festival will be complemented by artistic and cultural performances, culminating in a closing ceremony to award the participants and winners.
