Prime Minister Sofiane Larbi chaired a government meeting today to deliberate on three key priorities. The session focused on the universal service mechanism for electronic communications, a strategic initiative designed to eliminate digital isolation in sparsely populated areas through full state funding. Regarding national water security, the government reviewed progress on rehabilitating wastewater treatment plants, aiming to recycle 60 percent of produced water to support agricultural development in line with the President's vision. Furthermore, the meeting served to evaluate the ongoing arrangements for Algeria to host the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice, following an update on the implementation of decisions from the latest Council of Ministers meeting.
