Minister of Communication, Mohamed Bouslimani, highlighted the importance of specialized training for journalists during a workshop held in Algiers, organized in partnership with the High Council of the Arabic Language. On the occasion of National Press Day, the minister underscored the need for professional excellence in the face of rapid technological advancements. Bouslimani explained that while artificial intelligence can assist in content creation, it lacks the professional ethics inherent to journalists, who remain responsible for verifying information. He reiterated the ministry’s commitment to providing diverse training opportunities to combat fake news and improve standards. Additionally, the president of the High Council of the Arabic Language, Salah Belaid, noted the council's ongoing efforts to enhance linguistic skills and digital proficiency among media professionals.
