Saidal focuses on domestic raw material production and African market expansion

Saidal CEO Yacine Bouarada has announced the development of four manufacturing plants for pharmaceutical raw materials, including a paracetamol facility in Batna expected to be operational in nine months, aimed at cutting import costs and fulfilling domestic demand for essential drugs, such as cancer treatments. Internationally, the company currently exports to over 11 African nations and is actively transferring technology and training local experts in countries like Tanzania and Benin to establish regional production hubs. To support these exports, Bouarada emphasized the importance of streamlining administrative processes and the strategic role of Algerian banks in African markets to ensure secure financial transactions.
