The Algerian team wrapped up their appearance at the World Youth Karate Championships in Bielsko-Biala, Poland, without securing a spot on the podium. Represented by 26 athletes, the national team's top achievements were two fifth-place finishes by Akou Massila in kata and Rezkallah Sirine in the under 66kg weight class. Further results saw Dhi Mehdi, Massilia Louni, and Gouri Abderrazak placing seventh, with Rouichi Aicha finishing ninth, while other participants were eliminated in earlier stages. This performance falls short of the historical success in Turkey in 2022, where the country claimed three gold medals, highlighting the need for the national federation to re-evaluate its strategy against growing global competition.
