Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and the City, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, confirmed that the initial phase of AADL 3 housing distribution in Bordj Bou Arreridj will take place on November 1st, coinciding with the anniversary of the Revolution. The region has secured an allocation of 11,000 units under the 2025 and 2026 finance laws. The projects are centered in the new urban hub of Boumergued, a 276-hectare development designed to eventually house 20,000 units of various types. Beyond housing, the site is being developed as a comprehensive urban space, featuring a 240-bed hospital, university facilities including a law school, as well as essential schools, sports complexes, and public services to ensure a sustainable living environment for residents.
