On Wednesday, Saudi Arabia officially condemned and denounced Colombia's decision to establish an embassy in occupied Jerusalem. In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the move as a blatant violation of international law and a direct infringement on the historical and legal status of the city. Riyadh emphasized that this step contradicts the established international position regarding Jerusalem. The Kingdom further called upon the international community to uphold its legal and moral obligations, urging immediate action to halt illegal policies aimed at imposing a new status quo by force and undermining efforts toward a just and lasting peace.
