The Czech Prime Minister is set to arrive in Algeria on October 26, 2026, for an official visit accompanied by an economic delegation. The visit coincides with the Algeria-Czech Business Forum at the Aurassi Hotel in Algiers, aimed at fostering bilateral partnerships. The agenda focuses on eight strategic sectors: energy, transport, aviation, agriculture, healthcare, environment, ICT, and artificial intelligence, alongside international trade. Algeria intends to leverage this initiative to attract foreign direct investment and promote technology transfer, particularly in mechanical engineering and industrial spare parts, supported by the national investment law. The Czech Embassy has invited Algerian business operators to participate in the forum to explore opportunities for joint ventures and sustainable commercial cooperation.
