Algeria and South Africa have officially committed to moving their bilateral cooperation beyond institutional frameworks, focusing instead on the implementation of concrete, results-driven projects. During a ministerial meeting in Algiers, co-chaired by Ahmed Attaf and Ronald Lamola, the two countries identified key sectors for future collaboration, including trade, investment, energy, mining, and technology transfer. The ministers also emphasized their shared diplomatic positions on global governance reform and reiterated their support for the self-determination rights of the Palestinian and Sahrawi peoples. Both nations aim to bolster African integration and advance South-South cooperation through measurable strategic initiatives.
