Civil Protection units have reported 6 deaths and 281 injuries resulting from traffic accidents across several provinces over the past 24 hours. The most serious incident occurred in Saïda's El Hassasna municipality, where a commercial vehicle overturned, claiming two lives. Furthermore, emergency teams contained urban fires in Algiers, Bouira, and Khenchela, along with 10 vegetation fires. Following heavy rainfall, rescue operations were carried out in Tlemcen and Béni Abbès to assist individuals trapped by floodwaters, while water drainage was performed in several other regions. In total, the services conducted 3,716 interventions throughout the day.
