The Ministry of Culture and Arts has announced the publication of four ministerial decrees in the 68th issue of the Official Gazette, establishing protection and development plans for archaeological sites in Tissemsilt and Médéa. These regulations aim to strengthen the legal framework for the conservation of national heritage. For Tissemsilt, a decree dated June 27, 2026, covers the sites of Ain Sefa, Taza, and Ain Takria. In Médéa, a decree dated July 16, 2026, focuses on the archaeological site of Achir in the municipality of Kef Lakhdar.
