The "Cimes des Babors" group completed a 20-kilometer trek from Tibizelt to Imdane, spanning the regions of Béjaïa and Sétif. This hike through mountainous paths highlighted the authenticity of rural Algeria. During the trek, participants paused at a 19th-century colonial building to honor the victims of the May 8, 1945, events. The route also featured the scenic Bouamara waterfalls. Beyond the physical challenge, the experience raised questions about the region's untapped tourism potential, emphasizing that promoting such destinations requires a sustainable approach to protect both the natural landscape and the local historical heritage.
