A 22-year-old influencer and her 33-year-old accomplice have been sentenced to five years in prison and fined 500,000 dinars by the Sidi M'hamed court. The charges include spreading indecent content, exploiting a minor in sexual material, and violating currency exchange regulations. Investigations, which began in October 2025, traced a Telegram channel selling explicit material via BaridiMob payments. The defendant, who lived in Dubai in 2024, confessed to receiving payments for provocative photos and videos, which were funneled back to Algeria through her accomplice. Although she denied accusations involving a minor, the court convicted both individuals following forensic examinations of her digital devices and financial records.
