The Wali of Tébessa, Ahmed Belhaddad, chaired a coordination meeting to prepare for two economic events to be held in Tunisia at the headquarters of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce and Handicrafts, scheduled for November and December 2026. The first exhibition, focusing on the food industry, is set for November 19-21, while the second, featuring chocolate, pastries, and confectionery, will take place from December 10-12. This initiative is part of national efforts to diversify exports beyond hydrocarbons and promote the competitiveness of Algerian products abroad. The Wali emphasized the need for cross-sectoral collaboration to ensure the success of these events, which aim to provide local economic operators with opportunities to establish partnerships, explore new markets, and strengthen commercial cooperation between Algeria and Tunisia.
