Authorities in the wilaya of Mila have granted land concession contracts to 15 farmers from various municipalities as part of an initiative to regulate agricultural land management. The ceremony, attended by Wali Fayçal Amrouche, coincided with World Food Day and the 33rd National Agricultural Extension Day. The local director of the National Office of Agricultural Lands (ONTA), Fouad Bounab, emphasized the commitment to formalizing land use to support farmers and enable state assistance. Furthermore, 139 hectares of state-owned land in Oued Athmania were made available for concession. These lands are reserved for strategic crops, including grains and pulses, and applications are being processed through the official digital platform.
