The Sétif branch of the National Social Insurance Fund (CNAS) launched an awareness campaign this Monday focusing on the importance of early breast cancer screening. Running until October 29 as part of the 'Pink October' activities, the initiative aims to motivate women to undergo regular check-ups to enhance treatment outcomes. The CNAS also highlighted its commitment to supporting cancer patients, notably by implementing President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s directive to provide specific cards for non-insured patients, which has already helped 184 individuals access necessary medication. Furthermore, the agency facilitates radiotherapy sessions for patients under 18 through agreements with specialized hospitals, fulfilling state objectives to improve patient care and reduce the financial burden on affected families.
