Minister of Industry, Ferid Cortel, held a meeting with representatives from Tirsam, a company specialized in industrial and agricultural vehicle production. The discussions reviewed the progress of the company's existing investment and the level of local integration achieved. According to the ministry, Tirsam is currently in talks with international manufacturers to establish a partnership for a comprehensive passenger car production project. The potential plans involve either expanding their current manufacturing facility or launching a separate, new investment project. The minister emphasized the necessity of increasing the local integration rate and strengthening the national subcontracting network to support local industry and reduce the import bill.
