Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met on Thursday in Algiers with Humayun Kabir, Bangladesh's Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Acting Foreign Minister. The visiting delegation, which included the Minister of Energy, Electricity, and Natural Resources, engaged in talks regarding the enhancement of cooperation in strategic sectors, including energy, trade, textiles, and the pharmaceutical industry. Both sides underscored the need to activate bilateral cooperation frameworks ahead of upcoming diplomatic engagements. Furthermore, the officials reviewed current regional and international issues, emphasizing the importance of multilateral cooperation, particularly as Bangladesh currently holds the presidency of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
