The Algiers province participated in the Global Mayors Dialogue, held from October 9 to 11 in Luoyang, China, focusing on the preservation of historical legacies in urban centers. Represented by the delegate wali of Draria, Nachida Belahouène, the Algerian delegation highlighted initiatives to protect the cultural identity of the city, particularly the Casbah. During the event, the capital's modernization strategy was detailed, showcasing the "White Plan" aimed at improving urban living conditions and infrastructure. This visit also served to strengthen ties with the Henan province, fostering international cooperation and the exchange of expertise in sustainable urban management and city planning.
