National security services in Tamanrasset and In Salah successfully executed two operations this week, seizing more than 110 kilograms of cocaine. These security actions resulted in the dismantling of two organized criminal networks and the arrest of 10 individuals, including one foreign national. In Tamanrasset, the search and intervention squad seized 82 kg of cocaine, along with cash and vehicles, while taking 8 suspects into custody. In In Salah, authorities recovered over 27 kg of cocaine hidden inside a vehicle’s structure, leading to the arrest of two other suspects and the seizure of two 4x4 vehicles used in the criminal activities. All detainees have been referred to the specialized penal pole in Ouargla.
