The body is responsible for reviewing import applications related to production, services, or internal needs, with a mandate to prioritize sensitive products to ensure market supply and production continuity. The committee will also analyze data from the digital import registration platform and may establish specialized task forces. A weekly activity report must be submitted by the committee's chair to the Prime Minister.
