Additionally, the parties explored opportunities for utilizing renewable energy in seawater desalination projects. Minister Arkab emphasized the necessity of adopting modern technology to balance industrial development with environmental sustainability. For his part, the Scatec CEO expressed interest in sharing technical expertise and pursuing joint investment opportunities with the Algerian energy sector.
