During the seventh round of the Qatari championship, three Algerian internationals playing for Al Gharafa made a significant impact in the match against Al Ahli. Ismaël Bennacer, Adam Ounas, and Yacine Brahimi were directly involved in both of their team's goals, although the match ultimately ended in a 2-2 draw. Bennacer provided the assist from a corner kick that led to Seydou Sano's opener in the 13th minute. Later, in the 36th minute, Adam Ounas set up Yacine Brahimi to score the second goal. Despite leading by two, Al Gharafa could not secure the win as Al Ahli fought back to equalize, leaving the Algerian players to reflect on a productive individual performance that fell short of victory.
