Algeria’s hydrocarbon exports generated $37.5 billion in revenue between January and September 2026, according to Minister of State and Minister of Hydrocarbons, Mohamed Arkab. Presenting to the Finance and Budget Committee of the National People's Assembly, the minister explained that this performance was driven primarily by a 37% increase in the average price of Algerian crude oil compared to the previous year, reaching approximately $97 per barrel. Meanwhile, the average price for marketed Algerian gas stood at $11.3 per million BTU. Regarding oil tax revenues, the figure reached 2,841 billion Algerian dinars, representing 105% of the projections set out in the 2026 Finance Law.
