Algerian international Rafik Belghali was named player of the match during Torino's 3-2 victory against Monza in the 8th round of the Italian Serie A. The 24-year-old scored the team's second goal before being substituted in the 84th minute. Since his move from Hellas Verona last summer, Belghali has been in fine form, recording one goal and three assists in six matches. This strong performance provides a significant boost for the player ahead of Algeria's upcoming November training camp for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Togo, following his absence from the first two rounds due to a CAF disciplinary suspension.
