The Great Mosque of Algiers Announces New Academic Chairs Program

The Great Mosque of Algiers has unveiled its scientific program for the current season, overseen by Rector Sheikh Mohamed Maamoun Al-Qasimi Al-Hassani. The curriculum includes public chairs held between Maghreb and Isha prayers, covering topics such as Seerah, jurisprudence, and theology, with streaming available and certifications offered. Additionally, four specialized chairs are dedicated to beginners, structured into three-month cycles focusing on Arabic grammar, Islamic law, and Quranic recitation. Each cycle concludes with an evaluation, and the academic year culminates in final exams and an awards ceremony during the Mawlid Ennabaoui celebration. Prospective students are advised to monitor official channels for upcoming registration requirements and selection criteria for the specialized courses.
