Large-scale police operation in Ceuta to clear migrant encampments

Spanish authorities mobilized 350 national police officers on Sunday to dismantle the remaining migrant encampments in the city of Ceuta. The security operation targeted several areas, including Poblado Regulares, Los Rosales, and the vicinity of the Tarajal warehouses. Adults were transferred by bus to a temporary migrant reception center for identification and processing, while minors were taken to police headquarters for specialized procedures. This action is part of a mandate from the Spanish Interior Ministry to clear informal settlements and street gatherings before November 1st, following the mass arrival of migrants that took place at the end of last July.
