Work begins on the dual carriageway project for the southern bypass of Sétif

Construction works for the dual carriageway of the southern bypass in Sétif have commenced, covering a distance of 18 kilometers as part of the 2026 sectoral program. The project aims to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion on major axes, specifically national roads 05 and 28. The plan includes the construction of four technical structures, consisting of two interchanges at the junctions of the aforementioned national roads, as well as two crossings for the railway line. These improvements are intended to eliminate dangerous intersections between the road and the railway, thereby enhancing traffic safety and mobility for road users.
